Mark is well known as a unique and masterful instrumentalist. Currently, he is touring with Streamsound artist Jaida Dreyer. Mark also played fiddle, mandolin and piano on tour for Jimmy Wayne and toured extensively with Curb recording artist, Rodney Atkins. He was in the music video for “It’s America” and saw the single go to #1 on the Billboard Country Charts. He arranged and played all the strings on Nikki Jean’s “Steel and Feathers (Don’t Ever)” written by Nikki Jean and Bob Dylan as well as on We the Kings’ latest record “Sunshine State of Mind”.

Mark has appeared numerous times on live television and radio at the Grand Ole Opry. Other television appearances include the CMA awards, Good Morning America and The Today Show. He has played on stage with Christian hip hop superstar Trip Lee, country artists’ Mark Wills, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, and Shannon Lawson, as well as Andrew Peterson and Scarlet Kings.

In addition to his studio and touring work, Mark scored all the strings for the soundtrack of the documentary film “Newport”, collaborating with Dillon Hodges to co-write several of the film’s songs which feature gypsy jazz as well as old-time and classical music styles.

Mark started his musical training at age twelve in his middle school orchestra program. Soon after, he began classical training with Kathy McCann-Gardner, Paducah Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster, where he honed his technique to achieve a richer and smoother tone. He continued to sharpen his abilities and broaden his style by attending Mark O’Connor’s Fiddle Camp, as well as several others. Mark’s playing is refined through constant study and practice and he has developed a masterful blend of fiddle and classical styles.

Showcasing his unique abilities on guitar, mandolin, piano and fiddle, Mark has proven himself to be Nashville’s professional utility musician of choice.
